South Sydney Rabbitohs
MG Motor Australia has announced a major partnership with leading NRL club, the South Sydney Rabbitohs, commencing in 2022.
This partnership will extend over the next five years and will see the famous MG Octagon logo take pride of place on the front of the legendary Rabbitohs jersey.
It also complements MG’s ambitions to connect with Australians who have supported the brand on its journey since 2017.
Port Adelaide Football Club
MG Motor Australia is the official joint major partner to one of Australia’s most established and successful sporting organisations, Port Adelaide Football club.
The multi-year partnership marks the first time MG Motor has partnered with an AFL club and will also see the MG Motor name and logo represented on the front of Port Adelaide’s home guernsey and on the back of its away strip.
Celebrating their 150th Anniversary, Port Adelaide was established in 1870 and MG Motor was founded in 1924 – Both brands have a rich and proud heritage, therefore, there is a shared excitement for what the future holds.
National Basketball League
Since 2018, MG has been the Official Vehicle Partner of the Hungry Jacks NBL. This season, we'll be there again to ride the roller coaster of fun that basketball never fails to deliver!
For a total of 30 games, the keyways on the court will be transformed to the MG Motor octagon, featuring at games around Australia. What’s more, MG Motor and the NBL will align strengths together to develop and build pathways to help young basketball talent emerge.
Melbourne Stars
MG Motor Australia is the major partner of the Melbourne Stars under a three-year arrangement commencing October 2020. MG will be partnering with Melbourne’s famed women’s and men’s Big Bash team, the most watched team in Australia.
This partnership marks the first time MG Motor has partnered with a cricketing club and will also see the MG Motor name and logo represented on the front of the men and women’s BBL team uniforms, training apparel, LED venue signage and vehicles which Stars players and coaches will be driving each summer.
Mascot Netball Club
Commencing in 2021, this is the very first local community partnership here at Sydney City MG. Through the past years, we have developed a meaningful relationship with the MNC and witnessed the growth of the Club, while the Club has supported us through our own MG journey.
The effort, passion and dedication that the club members have put into each game are admirable. We hope to always provide support to our community, promote positivity and share the love for sport.
